I recieved my new phone from the pacakge from verizon. They said put the return label on the original box.?

I did that, but I took the sticker off from when they sent it to me. Did I do this right? How long will it approximately take for them to recieve it? I sent this 2 days ago and they sent me a text message saying to send it. Help!
