What feathers can you use for hair extensions?

Whiting Farms sells the best feathers for that type of thing, hands down. Unfortunately due to the high demand from the fashion industry right now, they are hard to get. Your best bet is to look for fly fishing shops in your area and buy what they have. Ebay also has them, but they can be expensive, and the competition is fierce. As far as the fray goes, if they are high quality feathers (such as Whiting) they wont. Also, all rooster feathers can be curled, washed, straightened and blow dried, but the cheaper feathers will show signs of wear and tear a lot quicker. Good luck!
